Built in 1883, the General Store occupies up the entirety of the Riverhouse first floor. The south-facing windows retain their original glass and overlook the Delaware River, allowing for ample afternoon and early-evening light. The front entrance with its covered porch, double doors, and near full-glass facade creates a dramatic welcome for you and your guests. The space can comfortably seat 100 guests, a 3–piece band for live entertainment, and several banquet tables for food and beverage. The rear of the General Store can be used for staging, storage, or food preparation. A small lounge area allows guest to rest their legs from the dance party taking place on the original hardwood floors.
